Obama Amb. to US & Harvard Prof. Pushed Anti-Trump Fake News
Liberals have been caught pushing “fake news” during the Trump administration too many times to count.
But this one really takes the cake, considering who got fooled.
Samantha Power used to be former President Barack Obama’s ambassador to the U.N. and a former Harvard professor, so she’s obviously not dumb.
That makes it clear that the desire to bash President Donald Trump makes it irresistible to even otherwise very intelligent people — not matter what the cost.
As Twitchy reported Sunday, Power apparently saw a tweet from DPRK_News, a parody Twitter account meant to make fun of the despotic regime of North Korea, and thought the post was actually from the despotic regime in North Korea.
It wasn’t clear which DPRK_News post Power fell for, but it was left to Matt Lee, a diplomatic writer for The Associated Press, to break the news to her. Omri Ceren, a Ted Cruz adviser, captured Lee’s alert to Power.

Of course, after it was publicly pointed out, and Power was mocked for it, her tweet was deleted. But the internet is forever and it was screenshot for all to enjoy. Some of the mockery is still posted online.

While the situation has its humor, it is also sad proof of how far people who hate Trump will go to infect others with the same hate.
Imagine the number of retweets and likes that would have been amassed, people seeing it coming from former officials and others and believing it, had the retweets not been deleted.
Like a virus, the fuel to the hatred fire would have spread in a rapid fashion, further adding to the division the country feels.
Fortunately, the truth was out and the retweets deleted before they did even more damage.
