Owner Waves Ripped-Open Bag of Kitty Treats in Front of Dogs' Faces, Knows Exactly Who Did It

Share

Ever heard the saying, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks?” Well, I don’t believe it for a second.

I’ve seen some amazing stunts performed by some wonderfully talented canines. It just goes to show dogs are smart, and whether they’re young or old, they pick up on things fairly quickly with a little hard work and a lot of treats.

One dog owner has had a grand old time entertaining people across social media with videos of his pal Denver. Known as “Denver the Guilty Dog” to her fans, this lovable canine seems to have no end of guilty grins in sight.

Trust me, knowing Denver has been trained to produce her signature smile at just the right moment makes no difference when you watch her in the act.

Her response to being caught red-pawed appears to be so genuine, I forgot I was watching a show.

If you don’t believe me, take a look at this video. Someone — or some dog, rather — tore into a bag of cat treats. Is it culprit number one or culprit number two?

“I’m gonna go look at the suspects,” the cameraman says. First he interrogates Macey, but she’s not about to take the blame for something she didn’t do.

Enter Denver. My heart just melted when she refused to look her owner in the eye.

The video’s headline rings true. This is, no doubt, the guiltiest dog in the world.

And one of the most obedient I’ve seen. Did you notice how she went to her kennel with one word?

I love this pup. I kind of wish I could take her home with me, and don’t tell me you weren’t thinking the same thing.

I’d say Denver deserves some of those kitty treats after her stunt. I have a feeling her owner rewarded her as soon as the camera stopped rolling, too.
