Patriots lose their only deep threat after savage hit
New England receiver Danny Amendola is a nightmare out of the slot.
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is a nightmare down the seams.
But deep threat down the sidelines?
The Patriots pretty much only have Brandin Cooks.
Or they did have Brandin Cooks.

Since Cooks had caught the ball and had established himself as a runner, he did not qualify as a defenseless receiver.
The Eagles led New England 15-3 midway through the second quarter.
