Police report from 2015 reveals allegations in McCoy's past of taking $50K in jewelry

Share

The LeSean McCoy story continues to get more complicated by the day.

Earlier this week, the Bills running back was accused of viciously beating his ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon.

The incident came to light when a friend of Cordon’s posted graphic pictures of her after the alleged abuse.

Shortly after the photo went viral, more details became available, including the fact that McCoy reportedly wasn’t in Georgia with Cordon at the time of the alleged attack.

This led to the theory that McCoy may not have actually attacked Cordon, but orchestrated for someone else to do it.

Now comes a 2015 police report published by Deadspin in which a party planner accuses McCoy of not only shorting her on her fee, but also taking thousands of dollars worth of her jewelry.

The report says a woman was hired to host a party for McCoy, but the “party” ended up being a much smaller event, and he wouldn’t pay her the $6,000 that was allegedly agreed to.

The woman says she left her jewelry — worth an estimated $50,000 — in a room at McCoy’s home while working, but later realized it was gone.

After going to police, the woman indicated that she would provide a detailed list of exactly what was missing.

Will the NFL suspend LeSean McCoy for any of these incidents?

About two weeks later, the detective wrote that he couldn’t get back in contact with the alleged victim, but she did respond to text messages.

The woman provided text messages about the party, but not specifically regarding the jewelry.

When reached by police, McCoy said he knew nothing about the jewelry, and thought the woman had collected all of it before leaving.

Another witness to the party told police that the woman was upset because “McCoy was not paying her any attention.” The witness also said the woman was not allowed into the bedroom because her behavior was “crazy”

A month after the party, a woman told authorities that the person who had helped McCoy set up the meeting was not being forthcoming because the football player had paid her to “to supply him with celebrity industry girls to have sex with.”

The only thing that is clear right now regarding McCoy is that nothing is clear, and his nickname of “Shady” might be appropriate in more ways than one.
