Remember When Trump Asked Minorities For a Chance to Deliver? He Just Did.

Share

Despite the rhetoric from most of the establishment media, President Donald Trump and his administration have helped minorities in nothing less than historic fashion.

On Monday, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted out some incredible statistics gathered by The Wall Street Journal since his father came into office, which revealed that “Minorities account for more than half of all new jobs created during the Trump Presidency.”

In addition, The Journal noted that around “one million more blacks and two million more Hispanics are employed” since former President Barack Obama ended his tenure in office.

The statistics evoke a 2016 Michigan rally in which Trump went off-script to speak directly to African-American voters. “You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58% of your youth is unemployed — what the hell do you have to lose?” Trump famously said.

While Trump took serious heat from the left for the comment, it’s encouraging to see a presidential candidate speak so bluntly about how Democratic politicians have consistently failed black Americans.

Trump Jr. took great delight in his father’s accomplishments since he posed the question almost three years ago and reminded his Twitter audience.

Students For Trump responded to the tweets, saying, “President Trump is working hard for ALL Americans, unlike Elitist Democrats who are just working hard to line their own pockets…”

In the first two years of Trump’s presidency, his administration made history as African-American unemployment dropped to a record low 5.9 percent in May 2018, according to WhiteHouse.gov.

In addition to helping the black community find work again, Trump also brought Asian and Hispanic unemployment down to record lows, too.

And Americans have taken notice.

The 45th president’s overall job numbers– across all demographics — are even better.

The White House’s website proudly states that since Trump was elected, more than five million jobs have been created and that the national unemployment rate remains below four percent.

What more can you ask for in a president?

Do you think the Trump presidency has been good for minorities?

Over the last several months, Democratic presidential hopefuls have been working overtime to further the racial and gender divides in America, attempting to pander to anyone — from LGBT Americans to climate change activists.

The average American just doesn’t seem to care about those issues when it comes time to pull the lever.

Americans care about how the economy is faring, how they will keep food on their table and how much hard-earned money they will have to pay in taxes — not skin-deep issues that divide the country.

Trump has every American in mind when he pushes legislation and executive orders that will help the country grow. It’s refreshing to have a political candidate who’s not focused solely on securing support within certain, minority demographics, but on fighting for America as a whole.

Despite the ideological and ethnic differences Americans have, we all want jobs, we all want to feel safe and we all want to enjoy the freedoms that America provides. And jobs and security are exactly what Trump is delivering.
