After Sentencing, Cosby Camp Issues Disgusting Comment About Jesus
Normally when I write, I like to segue into my main points after some introductory musings. Not this time.
Bill Cosby is the absolute worst of the worst. He is a low-life scum bag who doesn’t deserve an ounce of sympathy.
Look, people make mistakes. Nobody can deny that. But a mistake usually implies a dereliction of duty, like forgetting your wife’s birthday, or missing a mortgage payment.
Drugging and sexually assaulting an incapacitated woman? That’s a deliberate action that cannot be condemned enough.
Some semblance of justice was meted out Tuesday, as Cosby learned his after he was found guilty of three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault in April.

Cosby’s accuser, Andrea Constand, and more than 60 other women have come out in recent years to accuse Cosby of abusing his position of power — being the titular star of one of the most successful sitcoms of all time and being an entertainment mogul — to sexually assault them.
Three to 10 years in state prison does seem somewhat light based on the preponderance of allegations.
But Cosby is 81, and his legal team seems to have successfully argued that the maximum potential sentence of 30 years would be excessive.
“What does an 81-year-old man do in prison?” attorney Joseph Green argued in court. “How does he fight off the people who are trying to extort him, or walk to the mess hall?”
Fair questions. Of course, maybe he should have thought about that before sexually assaulting vulnerable women.
Montgomery County Judge Steven T. O’Neill also ruled that Cosby is officially labeled a “sexually violent predator.” That means Cosby must take part in lifetime counseling and report quarterly to authorities.
Had this sordid story just ended here, Cosby would still be eminently unlikable and despicable. But Team Cosby opened their mouths again and added “blasphemy” to the former television star’s rap sheet.

That isn’t just blasphemous. That’s wrong, infuriating and probably a few other words I shouldn’t type. The comments were rightly eviscerated on social media.
