Son Brought Back to Life After Car Wreck. Wakes Up And Tells Mom What He Saw in Heaven

Share

In the midst of heartbreak and pain, God’s presence is often questioned. Where was God when this happened?

Julie Kemp experienced this questioning after a terrible car wreck killed her husband, Andy, instantly. Their 8-year-old son, Landon, was in a coma after suffering head trauma.

An ambulance had collided with the family’s vehicle. Andy yelled out and then tragically died.

Kemp was stabilized. Landon, however, was not found right away. It wasn’t until rescuers spotted a child’s shoe that they looked for him.

The boy was transported to Carolina’s Medical Center after he required resuscitation upon being pulled out of the car. Landon was brought back to life twice more.

Doctors told Kemp that Landon’s brain damage would affect his ability to talk, walk, and eat if he even survived.

Kemp felt great disappointment and confusion toward God at her husband’s funeral.

She told CBN she was thinking, “I don’t understand why He didn’t send angels to protect us. But in the very next breath I’m praying as hard to Him as I’ve ever prayed in my life for Landon to live.”

Not only did God answer the mother’s prayer, but changed her belief about not being protected by angels.

Landon woke up out of the two-week coma with no brain damage.

Kemp didn’t need to break the news that his father had passed away because Landon already knew.

He told his mom that he saw his dad in heaven.

Landon also told his mom he saw her two other children. She thought back to her two miscarriages.

“And he saw them in heaven … He did not know that we had lost two children before him,” Kemp shared with CBN.

Landon also shared an important message: “Jesus came to me and told me that I have to go back to earth and be a good Christian and tell others about Him … I just want people to realize that Jesus is real, there is a heaven, there are angels.”

Kemp has changed her mind about angels. Because of her son’s miraculous recovery and message, she knows that angels were with them.
