In 1998, after a sixteen-sack season, Reggie White called it quits on a hall-of-fame career. He had spent eight years with the Philadelphia Eagles and six years with the Green Bay Packers. However, after sitting out the 1999 season, the Minister of Defense got the itch to play again. He did it for the Carolina Panthers, starting all sixteen games and recording 5.5 sacks. He would retire after one year with the Panthers, this time for good.
