It’s not often that a quarterback wins games at almost a two-to-one ratio in the NFL and then suddenly can’t even hold a roster spot, much less his starting job, but that’s exactly what happened to Tim Tebow. After posting a 7-4 record as a starter in 2011 and putting up the highest quarterback rating ever in a playoff game for a Broncos Quarterback, besting names like John Elway and Peyton Manning, the Broncos suddenly decided Tebow wasn’t good enough for them. He was traded to the Jets, but New York cut him after one season. The next preseason he was given a trial with the Patriots but didn’t make it past the preseason. Two years later, he attempted to make a comeback with the Eagles but was once again cut before the regular season began.
