Students from rival SEC school arrested for breaking into Alabama athletic facility
It’s understandable that SEC rivals would covet Alabama’s football success and want a piece of it for themselves, but this is a bit much.
Four young men were arrested Monday after police said they broke into the Crimson Tide’s Mal Moore Athletic Complex and stole memorabilia.
All of them are students at Mississippi State.
The Tuscaloosa News reported that Samuel Tanner Fittes, 21, of Columbus, Mississippi; John Thomas Badley, 20, of Laurel, Mississippi; Joel Harper Hudnall, 20, of Madison, Mississippi; and Joshua Jordan, 21, of Starkville, Mississippi, were caught on camera breaking into the complex at 2:17 a.m. April 4, according to campus police.

Each of the Mississippi State students was charged with felony third-degree burglary and released Monday on $7,500 bond.
The report said the items stolen included “various items of memorabilia from within” the Crimson Tide complex, according to campus police.
The university declined to tell the Tuscaloosa News what was stolen and whether the items have been recovered.
Unsurprisingly, people on social media had fun with the idea that Bulldog fans raided Alabama’s trophy case.

This is the closest State will ever come to a Football National Championship. #RollTide

If you can't do it on the field take from someone who has plenty of memorabilia.

One countered with a reminder that Crimson Tide fans have crossed the line too: One of them poisoned the legendary oak trees at Toomer’s Corner in Auburn.
Yes why didn't they keep it classy like adult fans and just poison some trees instead…oh wait…

The Mississippi State-Alabama football rivalry may be intense but it’s one-sided. The Tide are 80-18-3 in the series and haven’t lost to the Bulldogs since 2007.
Last year in Starkville, No. 2 Alabama needed a touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to DeVonta Smith with 25 seconds remaining to beat No. 16 Mississippi State 31-24.
