Sen. Ted Cruz revealed Thursday that the U.S. Army helicopter that collided with a passenger jet last week had a key safety system turned off.

One U.S. Marine and three American defense contractors have been killed in a surveillance plan crash in the Philippines.

Among other issues, contractors "did not check that [the manufacturer] had the required spare parts available as promised."

Two employees of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority were arrested after allegedly leaking video of a plane crash to the media.

The video was taken as the Learjet 55 went down shortly after takeoff from Northeast Philadelphia Airport bound for Springfield, Missouri.

The Learjet 55 crashed around 6:30 p.m., shortly after leaving Northeast Philadelphia Airport, according to the FAA.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt did not back down Friday regarding DEI being a potential factor in Wednesday's fatal crash.
