A Chick-fil-A employee named Dontarious Jamel Young belted out Lee Greenwood's "Proud To Be An American," which was greeted with thunderous applause.

But she decided to offer the poor man food, and invite him to come inside if he wanted to. She even shook his hand firmly, without any pause or wincing at his dirty state.

'We’ve spent years researching cities across the world, and the more time we spent here, the more we knew Toronto was the perfect place to roost.'

'I'm about to dial 911, I open the door and she's just screaming,' the Chick-fil-A director said.

A video shot by Chris Armstead shows a group of four men standing up at a table in a busy Chick-fil-A. Without warning, they began to sing, 'Every praise is to our God, / Every word of worship with one accord!' The normal sounds of a fast-food establishment stilled as the sounds of song filled it.

For the third year in the row Chick-fil-A earned the top spot.

'It was a very intense situation and I was relieved once it happened,' Harris said. 'I knew there was nothing to be said between me and him. I did what I needed to do and he was OK and I just came back and continued my work.'

The motorist, Bryan Ware, took a video of the unusual scene. It showed the employee clutching a paper bag, racing to catch a customer before it was too late.
