Chris Wallace's show, revived from the short-lived streaming service CNN+, didn't fare very well in its network debut.

Trace Gallagher, who has been reporting for Fox since its launch, will be taking over as host of 'FOX News @ Night.'

Chris Wallace will have a new show on CNN, but he will not be on as often as he was scheduled to be with CNN+.

CNN couldn't even wait as long as first announced to kill its streaming service. WarnerMedia invested about $300 million in the project.

Now that the streaming service has failed, original projections leaked by network insiders show how misguided the effort really was.

Chris Wallace left Fox to anchor at CNN+ but now that the streaming service is folding, he said that he is a victim.

The internal meltdowns came after the Thursday cancellation of the streaming service, which had struggled to attract viewers.

Apparently a lot can change in three weeks, because the once highly touted streaming service is now slated to come to an end on April 30. 

Kelly's reason for not leaving for CNN should be an object lesson for other independent-thinking journalists -- including one in particular.
