A lawyer for Christine Blasey Ford is now objecting again to plans that have been made for a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday.

'Yet again, Senate Democrats actively withheld information...'

'This is an ask to continue "negotiations" without committing to anything.'

This is becoming a farce.

Faced with the chance to question under oath one of the major figures in the allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, Senate staff members of one party decided not to bother.

Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh just made it abundantly clear that he is ready and willing to defend his name and reputation from the allegations lodged against him.

'You chose to sit on the allegations until a politically opportune moment. I cannot overstate how disappointed I am in this decision.'

'Her strong preference continues to be for the Senate Judiciary Committee to allow for a full investigation prior to her testimony.'

'An FBI investigation of the incident should be the first step in addressing her allegations,' Ford's lawyers wrote.
