The medical condition of aging Sen. Dianne Feinstein is more serious than previously reported, after a three-month absence from Congress.

A conversation with Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein seemed to indicate she was not aware she had been gone from D.C. for months.

California's senior Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein appears to be completely unfit for office and her latest utterance seems to prove it.

NBC reported Feinstein missed the first two votes of the day, "adding to the 91 floor votes she missed while she recovered from shingles."

"It was in his notes, and he would have said [it] if someone asked," a member of Schumer's staff confirmed.

The 89-year-old Democrat issued a statement Thursday arguing her extended absence from the Senate has been no big deal.

"With all due respect, my colleague, Sen. Schumer, this is about a handful of judges that you can’t get the votes for."

"Unfortunately, my return to Washington has been delayed due to continued complications related to my diagnosis."

"I remain committed to the job and will continue to work from home in San Francisco," Feinstein said defiantly.

"My family comes first, and to be there for them, I need to focus fully on my recovery in the months ahead."
