Former President Donald Trump celebrated the dramatic victory of Bryson DeChambeau in the U.S. Open on Sunday.

"Good for them! Families staying together, if possible, is always best," one fan wrote on the social media platform X.

He didn't know he was dealing with a police officer, Scheffler said. But Wednesday the entire issue seemed to be resolved.

Scheffler’s attorney Steve Romines will address the media after a hearing on the matter Wednesday afternoon.

A PGA golfer whose career had seemed to be back in gear died Saturday after withdrawing from a tournament Friday.

Scheffler was arrested by a Louisville police officer who claimed the the golfer ignored him and “dragged” him with his car.

DeChambeau has been referred to as one of golf's more polarizing figures, but he gained some new fans on Sunday.

"You know, I was never angry. I was just in shock. And I think my body was just -- I was shaking the whole time."

Scheffler was arrested outside the entrance of Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville and charged with a felony and several misdemeanors.
