A brewing three-way battle in Senate could have massive implications for both President-elect Donald Trump and the country, as a whole.

Three names have emerged as frontrunners in the race to replace Mitch McConnell as leader of the Senate GOP conference.

McConnell has come under fire for refusing to endorse Trump, secure the border and curbing the nonstop aid to Ukraine.

Securing the endorsement puts Trump closer to clinching the GOP nomination and perhaps seeing more Republicans coalesce around him.
