Sen. Josh Hawley grilled Attorney General Merrick Garland on the Justice Department's interest in parents protesting against school boards.

House Republicans are investigating collusion between the Biden White House and the National School Boards Association.

Sen. John Kennedy condemned Attorney General Merrick Garland for targeting parents protesting at school board meetings.

'Attempting to address that issue with federal intervention should not be the first step in most cases,' the MSBA executive director said.

The note came after Garland appeared before the Judiciary Committee last week over his letter targeting parents at school board meetings.

'Steele’s own legal team gave statements in a London courtroom stressing that the dossier was not verified.'

'We are going to do better going forward,' the group promised, ordering 'a formal review of our processes and procedures.'

'Where's the dedicated lines of communication with local leaders regarding our southern border - something that frankly is a federal matter?'

'Every single liberty we enjoy under the First Amendment has been assaulted over the last year,' Rep. Jim Jordan said.

Bennett made the comments during an interview on Friday with Fox News' 'America's Newsroom' following AG Merrick Garland's Thursday hearing.
