Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has addressed his political plans after two concerning medical episodes.

The Senate minority leader said he has no plans to retire early following a series of health scares.

Mitch McConnell's recent public episodes have had many people questioning whether it is time for him to retire.

The senator said on Sunday he believes Mitch McConnell is up to the task of leading Republicans in the Senate.

After having a few incidents over the last two months, Sen. Mitch McConnell was evaluated by a Capitol physician.

"It's like Mitch ... Mitch ... the guy who had the stroke during the speech the other day... Like, how are these people running our country?"

Mitch McConnell was given a clean bill of health after freezing during a news conference for the second time in a month.

"When Mitch McConnell steps down as Senate GOP leader, which won’t happen anytime soon, John is sure to replace him."
