It may have been the same national anthem, but the NFL was singing a markedly different tune with who sung it for the season opener.

The performance of an alternative "national anthem" before kickoff of the NFL's season prompted a negative reaction from some fans.

A group of Trump supporters displayed a flag touting the former president as "God Bless America" played during a New York Yankees game.

One NFL legend showed the world why he belongs in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and not the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

"I don't know about you, but I'm not rooting for them ... They ought to be ashamed of themselves," Kelly said.

The U.S. Women's National Soccer Team prefaced a lackluster performance on the field during the national anthem.

U.S. men's soccer players' reactions to the national anthem make the U.S. women's team look even more disrespectful by comparison.

"Are these girls being forced to represent the nation almost every other player would love to live in?" one social media user asked.
