A hiker in Alaska found himself lost in some very bad weather, but some quick thinking and clear judgement saved his life.

Yosemite National Park has declared open season on one of the ways tourists alter the landscape of the national park.

"Hot springs have injured or killed more people in Yellowstone than any other natural feature," the National Park Service states.

"She was nearly 16 feet long and contained over 60 eggs that were just days from being laid into our Everglades," the snake hunter wrote.

The most dangerous national park in the United States has been revealed as one of the most well-known areas in the country.

A federal judge ruled on Monday that the family of a woman who was killed at a national park will be paid $10 million in damages.
