Chuck Schumer threw out an evidence-free accusation that the Trump family might have made money off of despotisms. Rand Paul was none too impressed.

For Democrats like Schumer, character assassination is part of the game.

'It wasn’t enough for the federal government to waste taxpayer funds on boondoggles such as Solyndra. Now it wants to go abroad and do the same.'

In a report, the Kentucky GOP senator highlighted some of the ways that the federal government is wasting your money on frivolous projects.

'So I think the Constitution's very clear on this and we shouldn't completely just throw away the Constitution,' Sen. Paul said.

'Why don't you break the law and then you go to jail, Rand,' Joy Behar added.

'Claims not to promote violence, and then goes on to promote violence.'

Paul praised President Donald Trump's announcement of a ceasefire between Turkey and Syria during a Wednesday appearance on Fox News.
