Roger Stone was arrested Friday morning on several charges stemming from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s interjection into the United States' political system.

'Roger Stone, a confidant of President Donald Trump, was arrested in the special counsel's Russia investigation in a pre-dawn raid at his Florida home on Friday.'

Considering how inanely drawn-out and unfair Mueller's investigation seems to be, this lawsuit really couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

'This rogue government tyranny, perpetrated by a Special Counsel and his prosecutorial staff, which is designed to effectively overthrow a duly elected president ... cannot be permitted.'

The complaint will reportedly claim that Mueller and his team asked Corsi to lie, commit witness tampering and other criminal violations.

'I was aware that Individual 1 said he was not tied to Russia, attacks were politically motivated, and all interactions were terminated by the time of the Iowa Caucuses,' Cohen said in court.

'They can put me in prison the rest of my life.'

Corsi announced the release of his book on Monday in an interview in which he said that he had rejected a plea offer from Mueller’s team.

Corsi said the special counsel told him he "willfully lied on an amended statement,” a characterization he disputes.
