President Trump is asking Nancy Pelosi to cut to the core of the nation's needs and abandon the massive stimulus bill Democrats want to impose on Americans.

The economy is recovering at a faster pace than expected.

White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow told CNN Sunday that Americans will receive another round of direct payments next month.

The timeline is subject to change, given ongoing discussions between Congress and the Trump administration.

'We have everybody within Treasury and the administration working around the clock to get this money out quickly since this doesn't do people any good if it takes a long time.'

The current plan is reportedly entirely penalty-free and assures that 'interest shall not accrue' until the end of a six-month period.

The package would give direct payments to most Americans, expand unemployment benefits and provide a $367 billion program for small businesses.
