Alphabet's ubiquitous Google platform came under intense federal scrutiny today ... and it's not looking like it's going to end anytime soon.

President Donald Trump announced a massive $500 billion investment coming to the U.S. Monday, with pledges overall topping $3 trillion.

Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin quickly touted its recent all-female space crew. The backlash to those claims came even quicker.

"Do not attempt to remain in the United States - the federal government will find you," a message from the app reads.

"Russia wants to take away our advantages in space and they don’t care about collateral damage," one official said.

San Francisco launched a new traffic camera program under which residents who are not on welfare will pay substantially more.

"It shows no compassion for any child, but only the most obscene selfishness on the part of parents," one critic said.

Elon Musk has built a global reputation of being revolutionary, and effective. Monday's show was one of the most visible signs of his impact.

The search company couldn't recover the wreckage in 2018, but armed with updated technology and new information, this time may be different.
