A Greek Orthodox monastery near an important New Testament site in the West Bank was attacked, according to a new report.

Two victims from the attacks were hospitalized in critical condition – a 16-year-old boy and a 34-year-old man.

Palestinian militants in a West Bank refugee camp shot and killed two alleged collaborators with Israel before beating their corpses.

Israeli troops and tanks are expected to remain in place, despite the risks of being stationary behind enemy lines.

"It is in our national security interest to provide assistance in the West Bank and Gaza to support the foreign policy objectives.”

Under the new program, travel to the U.S. for business or leisure purposes for up to 90 days will no longer require a visa.

This attack is the second in which a U.S. citizen has been injured or killed by Palestinian terrorists in the last three weeks.

The incident occurred in the Church of the Flagellation, on the route believed to have been walked by Jesus to his crucifixion.

“We are celebrating Christmas this year in a very much different way than last year,” said Palestinian Tourism Minister Rula Maayah.

Although votes are still being tallied, Israel appears to be headed to its most conservative government ever.
