President Joe Biden said the U.S. military will keep striking at the Houthi rebels despite a lack of results to date.

Clare Daly, a member of the European Parliament from Ireland and an avowed socialist, laid into President Joe Biden during a speech.

"I don't think we should assume that at present, the U.S and coalition vessels are completely impregnable."

"The Constitution is clear: Congress has the sole authority to authorize military involvement in overseas conflicts."

The United States, with the support of Britain, attacked Houthi rebels in Yemen Thursday night, widening the Middle East conflict.

"I think it will be irrelevant — it won’t change the realities in the region nor will it stop future attacks."

The attack potentially marked a major escalation in a series of maritime attacks in the Mideast linked to the Israel-Hamas war.
