Thousands of Women Still Thanking GOP Senators for Kavanaugh Support

Share

After Democrats and the mainstream media tried to paint Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh as a rapist with false sexual assault accusations, thousands of women are still thanking Republican senators for confirming him.

In today’s political world, it might seem like it was years ago that Kavanaugh was sworn in, which was actually just last month, but the debacle surrounding Kavanaugh’s confirmation is still fresh in the minds of thousands of women.

A conservative group of women, Moms for America, sent Republican senators thousands of letters last week to show their appreciation to senators who supported the new justice.

Kimberly Fletcher, the group’s president, hoped the letters will help will counter the negativity senators received during the confirmation, according to WCIV-TV in Charleston, South Carolina.

There certainly was a lot of negativity coming from the left during the confirmation process.

For example, a Democratic intern released the personal information of some key senators and even threatened to target their children.

Thankfully, there are kind people like Fletcher.

Have these women sent the country a message it needs to hear?

“We want to come back and say ‘thank you’ (to senators) for standing strong and courageous for the Constitution and for this good man,” Fletcher told WCIV.

Fletcher said that there were still women who supported Kavanaugh despite the sexual assault allegations.

“There were tons of women who were here who were saying they were opposed, but we were here too,” she said.

That certainly seems to be the case going by Tuesday night’s election results in the Senate.

Republicans maintained their majority in the Senate, and vulnerable Democrats who voted against Kavanaugh lost their seats.

“Virtually all Senate Democrats running in Trump states — who voted against Brett Kavanaugh — were defeated,” South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham wrote on Twitter on Wednesday. “Their constituents held them responsible for being part of a despicable smear campaign orchestrated by the left.”

Meanwhile, the only Democratic senator who voted for Kavanaugh’s confirmation, Sen. Joe Manchin, was re-elected in West Virginia.

Kavanaugh was a great pick for the Supreme Court, and Americans won’t forget what Democrats put him and his family through.
