Tim Tebow's Heartfelt Words About Chip and Joanna Gaines Making Time 100 Tribute

Share

One of the reasons fans loved “Fixer Upper” more than any other home improvement show is because of the hearts behind it.

Don’t get me wrong, there are quite a few great HGTV shows, but there’s just something about the Gaines family that sets “Fixer Upper” apart.

Time magazine appears to think so, too. The magazine released its Time 100 list of Most Influential People of 2019, and Chip and Joanna made the cut.

The annual list is composed of celebrities, athletes, politicians and various influentials from all over the world. Other well-known people write up a short article on the individual or pair, explaining why they think those people deserve to be on the list.

Former football star and professional baseball player Tim Tebow had the honor of writing about the Gaineses.

“Joanna and Chip Gaines are two incredible people with incredible hearts,” Tebow wrote.

Do you think Chip and Jo deserve to be on this list?

“Through remarkably hard work, Jo and Chip have created a platform to be able to impact lives with extreme generosity — first with their HGTV show, ‘Fixer Upper,’ and soon with their own TV network.”

For those who don’t know — and possibly cried when the Gaineses announced the final season of “Fixer Upper” — a more recent announcement of their return to television had fans cheering.

Tebow went on to talk about his experience with the big-hearted pair during his time on their show.

“I saw firsthand the genuine passion they have for making a difference in people’s lives,” he said.

“They are also grounded in a strong faith, which keeps them focused on what truly matters in life,” Tebow, who is also outspoken about his faith, continued.

“People matter. Loving people matters. And Jo and Chip are amazing at loving people.”

What a heartfelt and authentic tribute he gave them! I have a feeling Jo will find a way to frame it in her own classic and iconic style.
