The report said police responded to gunshots and found Roger Randolph lying between cars.
Several shots also hit nearby cars, but nobody else was injured.
The Indianapolis Star reports that at least 25 people were in the club at the time of the shooting.
Police said the suspect or suspects in Saturday’s shooting fled the scene and remain at large.
Alexa Green of WXIN said police were looking for two suspects.

Zach Randolph has yet to make any comments about his brother’s death.
While details of the shooting remain unknown, it’s clear that tensions are running high in Marion.

In a sad irony, Roger Randolph was sentenced to three years in prison in 2005 for his role in a nightclub shooting.
Zach Randolph has had his own legal problems over a 17-year NBA career.
The power forward was arrested last summer for marijuana possession before starting his first season with Sacramento.
Known as “Z-Bo,” Randolph achieved his greatest success in Memphis.
When Randolph left the Grizzlies for the Kings, Memphis announced that his number would be retired once he’s done playing.
