Trump Dismantles Scaramucci with Telling Compilation Video: 'I Love the President'
More than two years after he was ousted from his position in the Trump administration, former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci has apparently decided that the best way for him to hog the spotlight is by turning on President Donald Trump.
And it took just one brilliant video for Trump to point out the hypocrisy.
Scaramucci worked in the administration for just 11 days before being ousted by then-White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.
His ouster came after he went on a profanity-laced tirade in a published interview, though sources told the Washington Examiner that he also harassed White House staffers.
On Twitter and in a Washington Post Op-Ed published Monday, Scaramucci has disparaged Trump, even though he continued to support the president after leaving the administration.
As Trump wrote in a tweet Monday, “Nobody ever heard of this dope until he met me. He only lasted 11 days!”

Trump also shared a video compilation of just some of the times Scaramucci defended him.
“I love the president, and I’m very, very loyal to the president,” Scaramucci once said in the White House briefing room. “He is an unbelievable politician.”
“The president has really good karma, OK? And the world turns back to him,” he also said.
Other clips showed Scaramucci saying things like, “I think [Trump’s] doing a great job for the country,” “The president’s phenomenal with the press,” “The president has this unbelievable economic story” and “[Trump] is genuinely a wonderful human being.”
And of course, the kicker: “I’m not going to be disloyal to the president.”
It’s all a far cry from what Scaramucci has been saying about Trump in recent days.
“The negatives of Trump’s demagoguery now clearly outweigh the positives of his leadership, and it is imperative that Americans unite to prevent him from serving another four years in office,” he wrote in his Post Op-Ed.
The Op-Ed itself comes across as quite high-minded.
Scaramucci is just trying to do what’s best for the country, he says.
“I challenge my fellow Republicans to summon the nerve to speak out on the record against Trump,” his piece reads.
“Defy the culture of fear he has created, and go public with the concerns you readily express in private. Hold on to your patriotism, and help save the country from his depredations.”
But it seems far more likely that Scaramucci is simply an opportunist. When it was beneficial for him to support Trump, he did.
Now that it’s more convenient for him to attack the president, Scaramucci has flipped. The self-serving nature of it all really couldn’t be more obvious.
