Watch: Trumpers Play 'God Bless the USA.' Dems Chant 'Racist Country! F*** This Song!' Who Are You Voting For?
If there’s ever been a more glaring referendum on the state of the country, look no further than the 2018 midterm elections.
It’s no secret that despite President Donald Trump’s repeated condemnations of violence and his calls for some semblance of unity, the country remains deeply divided and contentious.
But what exactly is the source of that divide? Taking out the far left’s irrational hatred of all things Trump, what is the root of this division?
Sadly, the answer seems to boil down to those who love this amazing country and those who despise it.
I won’t tell you which side feels what. I’d rather just show you.
Here is Vice President Mike Pence appearing at a rally to “God Bless the USA.”

Pence entered like a professional wrestler to “God Bless the USA” as he got a powerful standing ovation from the obviously pro-Republican crowd.
Look, at the end of the day, regardless of political affiliation, Mike Pence is the vice president of this beautiful country. You are more than welcome to disagree with him or his policies, but it’s so important to have an appreciation for this country, especially when policy disagreements in other countries can lead to much worse than social media bickering.
Now, compare that video to what Democrats were caught doing in the middle of a Republican rally.
Democrats take a knee outside a Republican Rally in Chattanooga, Tennessee, during the the National Anthem.
They yell out “Racist song! Racist country!” at one point one protesters yells out “F*** this song!”

While Republicans were honoring the national anthem, Democrats were decrying it.
“Racist song! Racist country!” is a nauseating enough chant as it is. But it didn’t take them long to cross the line even further.
“F— this song!” could also be heard from the Democratic protesters. Clearly channeling Colin Kaepernick, those protesters should be ashamed.
I’ll be the first to admit this country isn’t perfect. No country is, for that matter. But notice these dissidents aren’t being viciously murdered for voicing their admittedly disgusting rhetoric, like, say, what might happen in North Korea or Russia.
At the end of the day, this is what the divide in America seems to boil down to. Republicans recognize this country isn’t perfect and are striving to rectify it. Democrats recognize this country isn’t perfect and are only willing to whine and vilify this country without offering any concrete solutions other than “That’s racist!”
Make sure to go out and vote for the midterms, but keep in mind these two videos if you’re even remotely on the fence.
