Watch: Trump's Powerful, Unifying 4th of July Address as Dems Tear Country Apart
Ah, America. Land of the free. Home of the Trump.
We all celebrated the signing of the Declaration of Independence differently. Some of us grilled up a steak. Some of us played badminton as if we knew what the rules were. Some of us claimed we made “money moves” with profound indifference to reality.
Most of us aren’t Cardi B, however, and we can’t do the unify as eloquently as Donald Trump did.
Here’s the video:
That’s kind of a money move. Or not.
“It was 242 years ago today in Philadelphia that 56 brave representatives of the American people adopted our Declaration of Independence,” he began before also remembering those who fought in the Revolutionary War. “They forever changed the course of human history,” Trump said.
And, of course, Trump paid homage to the celebration of those who served:

And meanwhile, those around the president were also spreading the love:
Happy #IndependenceDay
May God bless this great nation & all the people who protect it! 🇺🇸— Melania Trump 45 Archived (@FLOTUS45) July 4, 2018
It’s that much more awesome because Hillary Clinton isn’t tweeting it.
“Today, as we celebrate the Fourth of July with friends and family, let us never forget that our freedom has been earned through the blood and sweat and sacrifice of American heroes. And these were great American heroes. And let us share the grateful heart of our nation with every veteran and member of the United States Armed Forces,” Trump said.
“Happy Fourth of July, and God bless America.”
I couldn’t have said it better myself. It unified all the people who wanted to be unified.
And as for the rest, well, trump them.
