Watch: Video Capturing Bride and Her Dog's Adorable 'First Dance' Routine Goes Viral
It’s not unheard of to involve your beloved pets in your wedding celebrations. Couples are constantly inventing ways to include their furry friends on their special day. Your dog might pose for photos or even serve as a ring bearer.
Regardless, everyone knows that training your pooch to simply walk down the aisle can be a challenge. Considering the effort involved, you’ll definitely be impressed by this bride, who managed to perform an entire dance routine with her dog!
Twenty-four-year-old Sara Carson Devine and her five “Super Collies” earned fame on the 12th season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” The trainer and her dogs have also appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and travel around the world to show off their favorite tricks.

“Sara is revered as one of the top international trick dog trainers and has received several awards showcasing her achievements in the past years,” The Super Collies website reads. “Her dogs have earned a multitude of agility titles and are savvy in dock diving, frisbee and canine freestyle.”
Although “dancing” isn’t on the list, Carson Devine proved that her pooch Hero belonged on the dance floor on her big day.
On June 15, 2019, the trainer posted a video of the mother-and-dog dance on The Super Collies’ official Instagram page.
“Today was a big day! So happy to have Hero by my side through my life’s journey. We had a Super Devine night,” the caption read.
In the video, Hero takes to the dance floor alongside his owner at the Excalibur Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. Donning her wedding gown, Carson Devine twirled and stepped in sync with her black-and-white Collie.

Appropriately, the two danced along to Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose.” Hero even seemed to bark along to the beat of the music, making the routine even more impressive to behold.
At one point in the video, Hero even jumps on the bride’s back and lifts his paw to the delight of friends and family watching.

The routine is so flawless, it’s hard to believe it was unrehearsed.
“We didn’t practice it, so I had no idea what to expect,” Carson Devine told the Daily Mail. “We perform in international television and at live events all the time — this was more private and it was really different being surrounded by so many friends and family members.”
Although the trainer adores each of her five dogs, she and Hero share a special bond. To her, it seemed natural to involve him in the touching dance number.
“Everyone at the wedding said they would have expected nothing less,” she said.
Carson Devine and her dogs are so inseparable that they will likely accompany her to many more special events to come.
“I had always hoped he would be around for the big day and it truly made it special being able to perform with him,” the bride said.
