Watch what happens when Tiger Woods challenges world long drive competitor
One week after a strong performance at the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, Tiger Woods was in Las Vegas hosting his Tiger Jam charity event at the MGM Grand.
The Tiger Jam is a weekend of experiences, including golf with Woods and other celebrities, concerts and other events, with proceeds going to his TGR Foundation, which promotes education for students in underserved areas.
As part of this weekend’s 20th annual Tiger Jam, Woods challenged World Long Drive competitor Troy Mullins to a long drive contest.
Mullins, 25, won last year’s women’s WLD championship.
She did it!

She hit a record 402-yard drive in competition last year.
And Mullins has her eyes on competing on the LPGA Tour.
So when Woods challenged her to a long drive contest at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Vegas, it was clear he needed to bring his A game to beat her.
Woods busted a drive that was apparently too good to beat.

After he crushed the ball, he put on his sunglasses and walked away smiling.
“Tiger challenged me to a long drive contest, but then bombed it and dropped the mic on me #tobecontinued,” wrote Mullins in an Instagram post.
But she then posted on Twitter that she didn’t get the chance to hit, so the challenge continues.
To be fair…. I didn't get a chance to hit haha so the challenge continues. 🐯 vs. 🦁 https://t.co/wThoSFUgOC
