Woman Sitting Behind Kavanaugh Trolls the Left at Hearing with Another Cryptic Sign
Earlier this week, leftist conspiracy theorists took to Twitter to share their expertise analyzing body language and recognizing hate group signaling.
They accused a woman of being a white supremacist and a neo-Nazi. Why?
Because of the way her hand rested when she folded her arms.
The woman, Zina Gelman Bash, a former clerk for Judge Brett Kavanaugh, has been sitting behind him during parts of the Senate confirmation hearings on his nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Her hand configuration Wednesday — which most of us know as an “OK” symbol — actually signals “white power,” according to liberal conspiracy theorists, who rushed to bash Bash on social media.

Perhaps she saw the humor in the complete absurdity of the accusations. On Thursday, Bash seemed to tease critics as she briefly flashed an “OK” sign while taking notes during the hearing.
Whether she was responding to a conversation or mocking leftist crackpots as she glanced into the camera is up for interpretation.
If she was trolling liberal conspiracy theorists, she certainly succeeded. They erupted on Twitter again.

The left is grasping at straws. It is only through their apparently encyclopedic knowledge of hate signs that most people have become aware of its double meaning at all.
Bash, who previously worked in the Trump administration, now works in Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office.
Her husband, U.S. Attorney Josh Bash, set the record straight after the first burst of conspiratorial rage.
“The attacks today on my wife are repulsive,” Bash said on Twitter. “Everyone tweeting this vicious conspiracy theory should be ashamed of themselves. We weren’t even familiar with the hateful symbol being attributed to her for the random way she rested her hand during a long hearing.”
He went on to say, “Zina is Mexican on her mother’s side and Jewish on her father’s side. She was born in Mexico. Her grandparents were Holocaust survivors.
“We of course have nothing to do with hate groups, which aim to terrorize and demean other people — never have and never would.”
