Women's March Releases Statment Attacking Trump's SCOTUS Decision, Completely Forget His Name
As leftists prepared for the end of the world on Monday — also known as the announcement of President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court pick — they worked themselves into a fever pitch of fury and dread — and forgetfulness.
In anticipation of Trump’s announcement, protesters gathered at the Supreme Court to yell and scream about the justice they knew was going to be the absolute worst — even though they didn’t know who it was yet.
Once Trump announced that he had chosen Judge Brett Kavanaugh, the same protesters began shouting “Hey hey! Ho ho! Kavanaugh has got to go!”
While it’s an extremely overdone chant, but we have to give these activists credit at least for remembering his name.
For another group of leftists, we can’t say the same.
The radical, leftist feminists who make up the Women’s March were so prepared to lose their minds over Trump’s pick, they had a pre-written statement condemning him or her.
There was just one problem: Whoever wrote the statement forgot to actually write Kavanaugh’s name in the email sent to their supporters and take out the placeholder of “XX.”
“In response to Donald Trump’s nomination of XX to the Supreme Court of the United States, the Women’s March released the following statement,” the email reads.
Oops. It’s almost like they decided ahead of time to react with total hysteria no matter who Trump picked.
But even though they didn’t know who the appointment was yet, they already had their statement written to proclaim that the appointment meant a “death sentence for thousands of women in the United States.”
“Trump’s announcement today is a death sentence for thousands of women in the United States,” the statement reads. “Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination threatens to move our nation’s highest court dangerously to the right and further erode protections for every marginalized group in America.”
It’s not just radical leftist groups who decided they were going to lambaste Trump’s Supreme Court pick, no matter who it was.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has made it clear from the time Judge Anthony Kennedy retired from the court that he would oppose Trump’s nominee.
It’s going to be a fight in the Senate to get Kavanaugh confirmed — but these leftists have made it very clear that would’ve been the case no matter who Trump picked.
